Grupo Maya is a family business that was founded in 1991 by Antonio Bonías.

With more than 30 years of experience in the domestic and professional hygiene sector, we offer a wide range of cleaning tools with a differentiating component in the sector, offering the best solutions combining innovation, design and quality.

Part of our efforts are focussed on optimising our production and operational processes and on the continuous threefold improvement of our economic, social and environmental performance.

The purpose of our Code of Ethics is to designate guidelines for the conduct of all the people who work in Grupo Maya’s business ecosystem, both in the Interest Groups and through their professional relations with our entity, such as with our human teams in the exercise of their job functions.

Our history

Grupo Maya is born as a distribution company of cleaning products and we start direct sales to Spanish manufacturers.
We attended the first trade fair as an exhibitor. Feria Hostelco Barcelona.
We create the first universal thread patent.
We expand market and start the products distribution for food hygiene in Spain and Portugal.
We create home line.
The company continues to grow and we move to a larger facility in the place of Bufali.
We carry on growing and expanding our products catalogue.
We expand our products in Spain and Portugal.
We decided to renew our logo and our image. And we carry on adding variety to our Brand.
We inaugurate a new website and the new domestic and professional sector catalogues.
This is a year plenty of news and new challenges for us. We take the leap as broom producers. We started exporting to Chile and Libya. And we commit to the online sale of our products through campaigns and Amazon as a premium distributor in Spain, Germany and UK.
We continue to improve and expand our services and offer. We diversified our presence on Internet with a new corporative web, with focused on the final client and with, focus on the professional.
At Grupo Maya we are taking another step towards sustainability and installing solar panels at our facilities.
A year of great successes and on our way to becoming a more responsible company with the adhesion to the Global Compact and the calculation of our Carbon Footprint. We also demonstrated our commitment to equality by maintaining a workforce composed of equal numbers of men and women.
